Go Horsie, Go!!!!

Today macey went to her friend emmaline's house. She enjoyed swinging on the horse swing and playing on the slide. It was fun to just get together with a friend and get some energy out before bedtime. They have so much fun together. 

So So Sleepy

So this is how i found macey sleeping during her nap today. i just thought it was too cute. hope you enjoy.

I know that it has been over a month since i last posted anything but i find that my time during the day is taken up by a very active 10 month old. Macey is growing so fast. She gets into anything and everything and is constantly on the move. We dealt with a little bit of a sickness last week that took a couple of days to get over. Don't worry, it wasn't the swine flu. Macey had a high fever for about 4 days which had us going to the dr. twice and having to get her blood drawn. Everything came back normal and her dr. said it was just a virus. She is now back to her normal self. 

She is not walking quite yet but is pulling herself up and scooting around everything. She has 3 teeth now. 2 bottom and 1 on top. I call the one on top her chicklet tooth because it is so big. We are enjoying every moment with our precious girl. It is hard to believe that in a month and a half she will be 1. I can't believe that i has already been a year. I will try to be better in posting pictures and keeping you updated.

Happy Easter!!!

We had a very fun Easter weekend. On saturday night, all of our friends came over and we enjoyed coloring eggs and enjoying a wonderful meal of haystacks. The adults probably enjoyed coloring the eggs more then the children did but we tried to include them as best we could. Macey enjoyed playing with her friends and crawling all over the place. We did try to get a couple of pictures of her coloring eggs but she mostly just wanted to put them in her mouth. On easter we woke up and had a yummy breakfast and then spent a little bit of time outside. Mostly we caught up on things around the house that hadn't been done since we had been gone for 3 weeks. It was a fun 1st easter for macey though - she doesn't know the difference yet. Hope your weekends were wonderful also.

Wonderful Hawaii Vacation

As you can see from the slide show below, we went to hawaii. My aunt and uncle live on oahu so we decided to take a trip with my parents and spend the week over there. We had lots of fun sailing and enjoying the beautiful 80 degree weather. We also saw the USS arizona memorial, visited north shore, took a ferry ride, and toured the island with my uncle as the tour guide. Jonathan and I also got to visit maui for 36 hours, baby free thanks to vovo agreeing to keep macey. It was a wonderful mini vacation from mommyhood. All in all we had a wonderful week filled with lots of memories.

I am an old lady!!!

Well, I have had another birthday and it was a big one. On February 28th I turned 30 years old. My husband did a wonderful job in planning a get together at the spaghetti factory on saturday afternoon with all of our friends. I thought that was it. Then he surprised me with a party on sunday night with all of the friends at our house. We had lots of fun, as you can see from the pictures. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend and my husband did a wonderful job of making me feel good about 30.



Macey got to enjoy some of the amazing red velvet cake. It was so good. All of the babies ran around the house. It helped me to make sure that everything was baby proofed. Ethan enjoyed helping me with my haystack. He was enjoying every bite. 

Eight Months Old Today!!!

It has been quite a week in the Davis household. Macey got sick at the beginning of the week with a cold as you can see from the picture below. Plus she has been finally getting a bottom tooth. 8 months old and still no teeth. All in all, we have survived the week. Even though Macey hasn't felt well she has still been a happy baby. We are having fun watching her grow. She now crawls all over the place. You will set her on the floor and she takes off. We have to keep a close eye on her now. She also talks a lot. Her favorite thing to say is "dadadadadada" which of course she would say since mommy stays at home with her most days. Oh well, I am sure that my day will come soon enough. Macey is our little drama queen and she keeps us laughing often. It is hard to believe she is growing so fast. Our little baby is growing up into a little girl.

This is how i found Macey a couple of nights ago. She had gotten herself stuck underneath the table and was not exactly sure how to get herself out.

She loves Qdoba. She enjoyed eating the beans and guacamole. She definitely is our child if she enjoys mexican food that much.

She just doesn't realize that she can pick them up with her hands. She thinks that they will miraculously go into her mouth if she opens it up. Very cute :)

GOOD MORNING!!!!!

We have become a season pass holder to the nashville zoo. We took Macey a couple of weeks ago when the weather was nice. She seemed to enjoy it. The larger animals are the ones she likes only because i don't think that she can really see the smaller ones. It will be nice to have another place to go on an outing when we need to get out of the house.

First day at the park!

Today we went to the park even though it was only 34 degrees. I bundled Macey up and we were only there for a couple of minutes but it gave us a nice break from the norm. She enjoyed the swings but kept sticking her tongue out when she smiled. It was pretty cute. Here are a couple of pictures that I got. Hope you enjoy.

What a Fun Week

Here are some pictures of Macey from this last week. We had lots of fun. Going out on the town is one of Maceys favorite things to do. Some of these pictures are from today. We went to lunch at Claire's house and Macey got to play with her friends Michael and Sadie. Claire and Avery were also there but they were doing other things at the time. Macey is becoming more and more mobile every week. This week we got a walker that was once Emmaline's. Macey loves it. She quickly realized that it would take her wherever she wanted to go. Last night i was cooking in the kitchen and i turned around and there she was. She loves the new found freedom. We are so enjoying this journey and cherishing every moment.
