So hard to get shots

well today was a hard day. macey got her 2 month shots. she ended up only having to get 3 since those are the ones her dr. felt were the most important. she did fairly well with them. i made jonathan hold her while i sat in the corner. i am proud to say that i did not cry although i am sure i would have if i had been the one holding her down. she did well with them and didn't cry for very long after her shots. once she got back in the car she fell asleep and took a nice nap.
she is growing well. she is 22 and 3/4 inches long and 11 lbs. 13 oz. she is still in the 75% for length and weight. her head is measuring over 16 inches which needless to say is still over the 100% mark. so hopefully she will grow into her head a little. her doctor was very happy with her growth and development. she is right on track and doing well.
macey and i got to stop by my work today while jonathan was at an appointment. everybody at work was so excited to see her even though she slept the entire time. it was good to see everybody and i have to admit the kind of miss it. i will look forward to my one day a week.
we finally required some tylenol this afternoon. we stopped by a store so i could run in and get a couple of things that i needed. jonathan stayed in the car with macey and when i came out a few minutes later she was in his lap screaming. i tried to feed her but she just continued to scream. luckily there was a pharmacy within walking distance so jonathan quickly went and got some tylenol while i continued to try to settle down our screaming child. the tylenol worked quickly once she got it and she fell back to sleep on the way home. so i think that the tylenol will be our saving grace over the next couple of days.
we are all doing well. macey is sleeping a little bit better at night. whenever i go into feed her in the middle of the night, she always greets me with the biggest grin. it makes it worth being awake at 3 o'clock in the morning.
